Meet One Of The Faces Behind Preferred Carpet Cleaning & Floor Care
I’m Chris Christian, the proud co-owner of Preferred Carpet Cleaning & Floor Care.
I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.
I began my career as an industrial engineer and worked for several manufacturing plants. After a short stint there, I switched my career path and opened a restaurant delivery business. I ran this business for over ten years, and while it was an exciting chapter in my life, I felt the need to escape the routine of working twelve hours a day for all seven days.
Fortunately, at the time, my friend was working as a carpet cleaning technician for a company and was looking to start his own business. In an attempt to continue my entrepreneurial journey, I broke away from the hospitality industry and joined the carpet cleaning business. In 2000, I partnered with my friend, and together we set up Preferred Carpet Cleaning & Floor Care.
Over the past nineteen years, we have overcome significant hurdles, and as the industry has evolved, we have added the latest services to address the growing needs of our customers. For example, we now clean, restore, and install hardwood floors.
Whether it is carpet cleaning or hardwood maintenance, I complete a job to the best of my ability and ensure it is done right the first time. My goal is to keep all of my customers happy and satisfied by providing quality service, so they continue to come back for more.
Our core business values of integrity, honesty, and excellence in the quality of work we provide have enabled us to retain loyal clients. I attribute my business success to my work ethic that was instilled in me by my supportive parents. I owe it also to my education and relentless hard work over the years. In took me a few failures along the way to get to where I am today!
When I’m not cleaning carpets, I spend most of my time with my family and flying airplanes. I’m a pilot and a Major in the USAF Auxiliary (Civil Air Patrol), where I undertake search rescue and disaster relief missions. I also get a kick out of recreational sports and physical fitness.
I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
